Implantable Heart Device Receives F.D.A. Approval

I'd hate to be the test case on this one. Do they get guys with bad hearts who could only make it with the operation?

I don't know that there's so many of them to make convincing evidence, so what then?

The proceeding from there could go either way:

"Get the one's who it would benefit it."
OR
"Get the one most likely to survive it."

I guess you pick your poison on heart implants, but as everyone aspires to get a heart implant we knew it all along, haven't we?
